My name is _____________. I am 25 years old and a resident of Sri Lanka by birth (Passport No.____). I have been residing in Australia for higher educational purposes since _______. I am currently pursuing Masters in Global Science & Management (Course Work) at the University of Wollongong, Australia. My study program here is due completion on 31/07/2022. I am writing this letter to request for an extension of my study visa. My visa (No._____) is expiring on ______, due to which I will not be able to complete my Masters education. 
Therefore, it is my solemn request to extend my visa for the duration of my study tenure in Australia i.e. (mention required visa duration) and allow me to earn my Master’s Degree in Australia. My chosen study program has a core learning outcomes favouring a comprehensive understanding of emerging technologies such as AI, Machine Learning and Data Science. Master’s in Global Science Management is perfectly aligned to substantiate my undergraduate training in Bio-Technology; allowing me to leverage my subject expertise for neo-modern innovation and research. 
The Australian Master’s felicitation will give significant impetus to the success imperative of my future ambitions. I want to diligently contribute to Sri Lankan Bio Tech Industry and eventually be instrumental in developing good standards of Bio-Tech research infrastructure in my home country.

Educational Experience
Academically, I have been a sincere scholar since middle school. I discovered my affinity to STEM subjects early on and thereafter worked hard to gather compounded knowledge over the school tenure. I completed my Senior Schooling from the Trinity College, Kandy, Sri Lanka with an academic focus on Biology, Physics and Chemistry and General English. I completed my school education in 2014 achieving Summa Cum Laud grades in the GEC Advanced Level Examination (2014).

In 2016 to pursue my organics interest in the modern facets of clinical medicine, I enrolled myself at the School of Life Sciences, (city name), India to the BSc program in Bio-Technology. The institute operated under the aegis of Manipal Academy of Higher Education. My choice was well derived from the relevant academic interests. I spent the next three years learning my undergraduate syllabus spanning, expansive study modules in Botany, Zoology, Physics, Sustainability Science, Micro Biology, Bio Statistics, Nano-Biotechnology and Advanced Genomics, amongst others.
For my final year thesis, I presented a research paper on Assessment of Conformational Modifications of Fibrinogen from Nitro-oxidative Stress based on LED induced Autofluorescence. During my undergraduate tenure, I was privileged to intern for two months at the 2 months at the Department of Radiation Biology and Toxicity, School of Life Sciences; undergoing extensive training in DNA/RNA Isolation, Agarose Gel Electrophoresis and accruing Baseline Knowledge of PEARL Programming, Bio-Technology Databases and R software.
I completed my BSc in 2019 with distinction grades, scoring a CGPA of 7.73/10.
Language Proficiency
I have appeared for the IELTS online examination in the year __, with a high average bands of 8.5. The University of Wollongong considered my linguistic abilities to be competent enough apart from other academic credentials and therefore, admitted me to the Master’s Program in the year 2021.
Why Study Masters in Global Science Management
I chose to study the Master’s in Global Science Management after an exhaustive evaluation of the choices available to me. I started my education in Australia in July 2021 with an academic rationale to complement my interest in Advanced Genomics and Bio-Statistics. Especially, in the wake of pandemic, when the core focus of the research community shifted to epidemiology, I set course to aggrandise my knowledge bank in computational technologies and research that will set course for the future innovation in Bio-Technological domain.
Throughout my one year tenure at the University of Wollongong, I have been relishing the learning experience, the brilliant research facility of the university and the ample opportunities I have received to collaborate with my intelligible mentors and peer group at the campus.

Not only I have been able to comprehend my coursework effectively, but my experience in Australia exposed me to the brilliant pedagogical methods of your country. In the last three semesters I made extensive efforts through research, surveys and mentor consultations to have breakthrough understanding of technologies such as (mention technologies and skills you have acquired during Masters).
