It is with scholarly intent that I am writing this letter; seeking readmission to the Bachelor of Accounting study program at the Holmes Institute, Sydney for the (name semester). I have already completed and passed in twelve of the sixteen subjects that were part of my study modules. Prior to my undergraduate education, I have completed a Certificate 4 accreditation in Business Administration in 2015, from the Zenith Business Academy, Sydney and thereafter a Diploma in Accounting from the Skyline International College in 2018. I have been academically diligent to learn my chosen domain of Business Accounting and therefore request you to allow me for reappearing for my remaining exams at your esteemed institute.

Please consider my humble request with urgency as I strive sincerely to complete my undergraduate education within my Visa tenure, i.e. February 2022. An undergraduate degree in Accounting will give vital impetus to my learning objectives and to my employment eligibility amongst reputable corporate organisations in my home country, Nepal.

Reasons for the Gap in Undergraduate Program

My undergraduate program began in March 2019 at the Holmes institute. I have been carefully mindful of justifying my learning outcomes with good grades and did not take any break for the next two years; continuing my studies even during the summer breaks. My goal was to complete my studies in a fast paced manner. In my final semester, I was able to score well in most of my assignments including the group tasks, individual assignments and online tests. However, I was not able to secure passing grades in four subjects, namely (mention the subjects).

This compelled me to take my first break in March 2021 for introspection purposes and I concur that now I have much needed clarity and skills to continue my education and deliver good results from it.

Plan of Action

I have worked extensively with the academic counsellors at the Holmes Institute and through self-study to comprehend the academic concepts that I was weak in. I have no doubts that I will be able to clear all my backlogs through the commitment I have for academia and with the expert guidance I will receive at the institute.

I have already identified the additional reading material required to gain better understanding of these subjects. Additionally, I will be working closely with my faculty for doubt clearance sessions and practicum exercises. I am certain that with their guidance and regular feedback, I will score better grades while I personally strive to complete my education with HD Grades in the remaining subjects.

Future Goals

I have definitive ambitions to work in the domain of business accounting. I have been primarily focussed on learning the subject and therefore started the foundational education since my senior school years.

My current academic skill set includes formal education in Business Administration though Certificate 4 course and a Diploma in Business Accounting. After completing my Bachelors in Accounting at the Holmes Institute, I will seek to work for progressive companies in Nepal and India. Business Accounting is an indispensible process in every company and I am confident of gaining excellent employments opportunities; especially in the venture driven economies of the Indian subcontinent.

Immediately after completing my education in Australia, I will look forward to gain crucial executive experience for a few years. Thereafter, I will be seeking managerial and strategic roles in Accounting Management and Financial Compliance domains.
