As a creative person, I’ve always felt that the purpose of one’s life is defined by one’s willingness to learn and accept new challenges in the pursuit of becoming better. This is an intentional choice that we can all make, as far as I can tell. With this aim in mind, I decided to pursue the (course name) to better prepare myself for the obstacles that I may face as an IT professional. I am confident that the demanding academic environment, carefully structured curriculum, and engrossed training will put me on the path to a successful career.

My father used to open up and repair my laptops, computers, and other devices when I was a teenager. Besides my dad receiving his engineering degree in 1995 from the Government College of Engineering, he taught my brother and me how to “debug and fix” several of our technological gadgets. Working as his assistant and sitting next to him was like a full apprenticeship in electronics, electrical, and more. This, combined with my love of science and technology, as well as my deep interest in the ever-evolving world of technology, led me to pursue computer science as a career. I recall my first bird-watching experience when my grandma asked, squinting at the camera display, and “I can only see the tree.” My bird-watching journey began with starting a club with my friends, and it ultimately led to my realization and self-identification.
I had a strong urge to learn more about hundreds of different bird species across the globe. My travels to the Ranganathittu bird sanctuary, Pulicat lake, Siruthavur lake, and Vedanthangal bird sanctuary were part of this strong desire. Moving further, I was also keen to know how birds fly by forcing air downwards, which I have read in Newtonian mechanics that is based on mass flow rate. I was always delighted to attend my Physics lessons at school and also found out that bird wings, in particular, fly through a mass of air every second (m/dt), which they accelerate to a downward velocity (dv), creating a downward force (Force = ma = m/dt x dv). But studying the theoretical part is not enough; hence, I developed an interest in computer science for more practicality. I’m not scared to try new things and take risks. Multitasking and project management are not a problem for me. I focus on the generation, development, and implementation of ideas. All of these qualities help me excel in high-pressure circumstances.
After receiving fantastic grades in my 12th grade, I was certain that a BS in computer science would be a good fit for me. That is why, during my class 12th, I decided to study on my own to pass the exams required for admission to the best colleges, and I got a 1490 SAT score. I’ve also come across a number of studies and research papers produced by your prestigious institution. That is how I realized (nameofthecollege) is one of the best globally and can assist me in achieving my objectives. Aside from the prizes and accolades, I learned about students from this institute who have achieved great success and brought honor to the university. All of these factors led me to choose this university as my preferred college for continuing my education and earning a computer science degree.
My research into the university has given me great confidence that it will adequately prepare me to tackle all of the problems in real-world business situations. Most of the reviews I read underlined how much emphasis the university places on the practical components of the course as well as the pedagogic aspects. I discovered that the institution uses debate forums, group discussions, presentations, seminars, and internship possibilities as excellent and effective experiential learning methods. It was also reassuring to learn that the university seeks to mentor students holistically as competent professionals in their chosen field.
Because I had already decided to pursue computer science as a career, I began to surf the internet, finding out the opportunities and careers in CS and the best college to follow. I’ve made computers a top priority in my life. As a result, I can tell you that once I get accepted into your university, I will do everything in my power to be a student worthy of your institution. I also intend to get a master’s degree in the same subject. I want to advance to the highest levels of learning and serve not only the country I belong to but the entire world. Moreover, my education from the IBDP board makes me more University ready.
Being an American citizen, I chose the United States as my preferred destination to study Computer Science. Moreover, the United States has a unique charm that has always drawn me like a magnet. My hobby for exploring more had landed me in India, where I took my early education. Now, studying at an American institution like yours will provide me with important academic, professional, and personal growth opportunities, as well as an endless number of options where I can incorporate my culturally diverse skillset.
With the love of technology in the environment, I took part in citizen science programs around the world to collect field data and observations on bird activities. I went to numerous hotspots in my city to observe and record bird sightings and take part in events like the ‘October great day,’ a worldwide bird-watching event. Following the well-known farmer demonstrations in India, my friends and I organized a group to raise awareness about the challenges faced by local farmers in our state. I in a team began by interviewing local farmers to learn about the issues they faced on a daily basis. Then we made and distributed pamphlets that outlined some of the challenges that farmers confront. Finally, we hosted seminars for students in grades 6-8 at our school to inspire a community effort to help farmers.
I’ve always been involved in activities and have always been a part of new projects. I was selected for my high school football squad, where I played midfield and defense in inter-school games. To protect the earth, I also launched a personal environmental project. On World Forestry Day, I gave a presentation at my school to raise awareness about forest damage. After being inspired by my own presentation, I chose to plant a garden in my backyard. Before starting my own garden, I first worked in a nursery for 5 days, helping out and learning how to care for saplings.
I am confident that by working hard and applying myself, I will be able to make a positive contribution to your university. I am entering this next stage of my life with an eagerness to make a difference. As I compare myself against the world’s greatest, it is clear that success will require more than hard work and good intentions; instead, we must take risks if our goals are truly worth achieving. To summarize, I am eager to go the “additional mile” and go above and beyond in order to make a difference.
Sincerely…
