Statement of purpose:
In the field of education, I have always been intrigued with knowledge and information. Therefore, in my school years one of my favourite and main subjects was environmental science, I decided to take this subject as one of my majors in higher studies. This is a statement of purpose that I am writing as a support of my application to be enrolled in for the ‘Master Programme in Resource Recovery – Sustainable Energy Processes’ at your prestigious University of Boras. In the field of environment it has always been a challenge to opt for studying environmental energy processes as this has always made me feel like I would be doing something worthwhile which will contribute to society and in the long run do and will turn into something useful for all. I have always looked to widen the horizons of learning in sustainable energy and having a better understanding of it.
I have learned a lot on what the use of sustainable energy is and as it interested me, I did pursue it for my Bachelors undergraduate degree from the University of Burhan. I graduated in this discipline of environmental studies with a good average score and was given the fortunate opportunity to do a research in my final year in under graduation.
It was an experience for me to do research in the field of environmental sciences at a bachelor level despite not having enough resources. My research topic was related “Trends in Decarbonisation, Energy Transitions, Sustainability Goals and Green Finance”. The subject matter of research was decarbonisation and the trend that is creates for achieving the sustainability goals in the future. As my aim and interest is in research, I have discovered the esteemed and best University for the Course that would definitely help in enlightening me further in this field and provide opportunities like no other universities that would boost my knowledge base to the next level. I would also like to mention that the high quality of research that this prestigious university offers has been mentioned in ground breaking research papers and articles that have been published in the research field. There are papers published by your university that has also been cited in work of Nobel Prize winners, which gives me great pride and honour to be resorting to a challenge of this magnitude and force.
As my ultimate aim is to work in research and advance in my studies, I believe that having an atmosphere that will drive you to study well and stimulate the brain to strive to achieve better is the goals that I have intended to place for myself. In the field of education as it has been seen, competition is healthy when there is a learning potential and this will drive me to be a better researcher so as to produce work that will benefit all and that is where I see myself in a few years from now being recognised as a researcher in sustainable energy processes.
