Describe with examples the most important personal quality that you possess, which significantly enhances your prospects of being successful as a leader.
To begin with, leadership for me is echoed through self-discipline. As an aspiring entrepreneur, I believe leadership is about gauging swift and pivotal decisions to outperform the competition, rousing others to accomplish tasks at the peak of their calibre. Through my consummate stints at Delta Storage Systems as Business Development Executive, I have accrued much success of leading by example as I cherished being honest, ethical, strategical and lived what I preached. I am endowed with the quality of building long-term relationships, which has always helped enhance my prospects of being a successful leader. For instance, I have made productive client relationships in my current company to enhance collaboration and maintain responsiveness to changing strategies. I discovered the secret ingredient of saving up to 32% in transportation by formulating a plan to dispatch goods on a particular day rather than on a daily basis, which was what the company used to follow. This gave me an upper hand while negotiating transportation prices with the consumers.

I aspire to be a holistic leader as I believe that one needs to be a good human being before becoming a good leader. The transmission of knowledge through mentoring helps in building strong leadership pipelines in any organisation. I believe leadership is more about managing people and building trust. That is the reason why I stress a lot about building relationships. I can proudly claim to be amongst a privileged few that can boast of having been professionally involved in almost all stages of marketing. While working as an intern at a Textile company, Sutlej Textiles and Industries Ltd., I had a target to build a network with five of the top members of the company.
I vehemently seek to interact with the brilliant mentor community and student council at ISB, and I am hopeful that my gusto will be reciprocated with corresponding fervour.
