Respected Sir/Ma’am,
Kindly review this application in consideration of accepting my travel to Canada. I’m writing this to express my desire to get approved for my Student Visa Application (#__) so that I can begin my Global Hospitality Business Development Program, which will commence on 2021/09/07 and will be completed by the date 2022/04/22.

I was born at what can only be described as the centre of the joy of India, Gujarat. I’ve always witnessed the people treating everyone around them with a smile on their faces. Being the little kid that I was back then, I tried copying my adults. Sooner or later, it dawned upon me that I had the same welcoming smile on my face all the time. Some individuals get wealth or other materialistic things as heritage. But I got the gift of a warm personality from my ancestors. So, this is me, Parth Hareshkumar Patel.
Family Background
My achievements are only the long-term effects of my father’s guidance and support. My father is associated with the agricultural field of work, and my mother is a homemaker. Our nuclear family has molded me into the man I am today, diligent and dedicated towards my work. All of my good traits and work ethics have been taught to me by my family. They are the first people who inspired me to study outside India and all of their efforts have made me realise my true potential and strength.
Education Background
I’ve completed my schooling at Vibgyor High International School, Gujarat, India -AS and A level- in the year 2012 with flying colors and scored (_). Just after that, I embarked upon the journey of gaining in-depth knowledge about my favorite subject in school. I pursued a bachelor’s degree in Business administration (2013-2016) from Navrachana University, Gujarat, India, with a specialization in Finance and Supply Chain Management. All my hard work paid off, and I scored a CGPA of 7.21 out of 10. After this, I was lucky enough to get an opportunity to study at Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia (November 2016 – 2018) and pursued my Masters in Business Administration (International) whilst specializing in E-Business and Supply chain management. My journey from a small-town boy of Gujarat to Melbourne wasn’t as smooth as most people imagine it to. This transition has only made me stronger and better susceptible to change.
Work experience
During my Bachelors of Business Administration in Gujarat, India, I undertook the challenge of working as a corporate social responsibility intern in GSFC Ltd (May 2014 to June 2014). Here, I performed various activities from social work to interaction with about 300 people. Worked, collaborated, and led a team for organizing activities aimed at improving the lives of children. The next year I got associated with Sharekhan Ltd (May 2015 to July 2015) as a finance and marketing trainee. While working here, I learned about the equity market, commodity market and how to invest in them while collecting leads and converting them into a newer opportunity for profit.
Soon after this, I moved to Melbourne. My most recent job experience was with Sage Restaurant. Initially, I was a food services supervisor for five months, from January 2017 to May 2017. After this, I got promoted to food services manager and have been working there ever since. I’m in charge of planning, organizing, and controlling the operations of the restaurant plus determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures and recruiting staff, and overseeing, monitoring, scheduling staff training and performance. With this, I controlled stocks and modified procedures and prices of the items on the menu.
Immigration history
My travel history contains no visa refusals and is all crystal clear. I’ve traveled to Australia, Melbourne to pursue my Master’s degree in Business Administration.
Language proficiency
As English has been my primary language as a medium of instruction since elementary school, I will have no linguistic difficulties during my educational stay. On (date), I took the IELTS exam and received an overall score of 7 bands, which meets the University and Country requirements for international students.
Listening-7.5 Writing-6.0 Reading-6.5 speaking-7
Relevance of the course for future study
My father’s teachings have inculcated the love and knack for education in me. To gain more theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of hospitality and business development, I want to pursue this course.
To reach my long-term goals, I have divided them into short-term ones. My upcoming goal is to complete my certification, which will help me get a deeper understanding of global hospitality and work my way up to my final goal of being a renowned Restaurant owner or project manager for chains of restaurants. This international degree will give a head start to my dreams and my career. I’m determined to return to my home country, India, after completing this program at Seneca College. For all the good values and ethics I’ve learned in my foundational years, it would be more than just an honor to return some of it to my people. Gujarat has made me who I am; therefore, my heart has always and will always belong to it. I would return with an international degree and get a job that pays me handsomely.
