Those in my circle of acquaintance will readily testify for my enthusiasm in the domain of data intelligence. An interest that I pursue with unyielding curiosity and diligence; much in the parlance of the talisman of excellence, I follow in life. Hitherto, I have accrued a valid education with a rigorous four year curriculum of BTech in Computer Sciences from JIS College of Engineering and a Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science (2018-19) from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) erstwhile known as Manipal University. Thereafter, I gained important professional experience, working in the capacity of Data Analyst with the reputable Auto-Tech firm, Mahindra First Choice Wheels Pvt Ltd since May 2019 till current, building unique computer visions and applications to effectively detect the price outlier.

I have dexterous understanding of the neo modern technologies akin to Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Neural Networks, Data Scraping & Structures and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). My approach to academics is experiential, often leading me to venture beyond the scope of my syllabus. While pursuing my PG Diploma and Bachelors I successfully completed a certificate course on Design and Analysis of Algorithm (Microsoft research, Indian Division, 2014) meanwhile developing resounding skills in Python and R Programming Languages, My SQL, Tableau and Advanced Excel. My existing knowledge set will ensure better absorption of education while studying the modules of the Data Analytics Program

My predilection to study Fin-Tech at an advanced level is admittedly a result of the admiration I have for my father and witnessing his acumen as a Bank Manager from a front seat view. I am also mindful of the ramifications that Data Analytics will ensue on the Global Financial Sector to the milieu of predictive modelling and quant applications leveraged for actionable, accurate information. I aspire to harness this trend for better employability and to establish a career in the style of a distinguished data Marksman. I eagerly yearn to educate myself with theoretical and practical knowledge in applied finance, pure banking and Insurance. I am certain to deliver spectacular results combining analytics to the traditional science of finance with excellent resolutions in the field of Capital Market Analysis and Risk Mitigation in Banking and Finance Industries.

To this ambition I have participated at the ETS BFS Unilever Datathon, 2019. I developed a ‘Forecast Free Cash Flow’ application, through analysis of financial data of Unilever, Turkey, effectively interpreting regular time stamps using machine learning models. My participation received a special mention award by the Chief Financial Officer at Unilever.

I have prepared myself well to enable an ease of learning while pursuing the coveted MDA program. The discipline of Finance and Data Analytics, both, require good comprehension of Advanced Mathematics, Statistics and concepts of Physics, Probability and Calculus. These subjects were a core part of my syllabus while pursuing my engineering education and I toiled to equip a profound skill set in these disciplines along with acquiring idiosyncratic knowledge in the quintessential software programming languages and technological tools.
