I came to Australia in the year 2019 after completing my undergraduate degree in Bachelors in Computer Applications. I was the typical wide-eyed college graduate hankering to expend my newfound knowledge. Filled with passion and motivation, I aspired to benefit from the unmatched industry exposure and training. I came to Australia to learn about the contemporary standards and practices in the field of Networking.
I longed to acquire the skills that would help me build a truly rewarding and fruitful career for myself in order to fulfill my dreams and aspirations as well as those of my family. I chose to study at the Melbourne Institute of Technology (Sydney Campus) as it is widely lauded for its unmatched infrastructure and learned faculty. A degree like the Masters of Networking Major in Cybersecurity will considerably enhance my employment prospects.
Having observed my father’s business from close quarters, I always yearned to understand the intricate requirements of network management in organizations and businesses effectively. Right after completing high school, I was faced with a myriad of academic choices. This also fueled my motivation to get an advanced degree in Major Networking and gain a greater perspective on Cybersecurity. Choosing this course was a straightforward decision for me. My interest and proficiency in subjects such as Cybersecurity and Network management motivated me to expand my understanding of Networking. My reading and self-study helped me arrive at the conjecture that it was a truly wide course to pursue. I resolved to get a master’s degree from a reputed international university.
As I began my academic journey, I came across several hurdles and challenges. Getting accustomed to the unforeseen pandemic situation, balancing my life with academics in this time took a toll on me. I took all of these challenges in my stride. I tried to organize my tasks by creating objective goals and plans for everything.
However certain subjects like Research Methods and Project Design (MN691) caught me off-guard. I had to spend a lot of hours on self-study to be able to comprehend it. Gradually the stress started impacting my performance in this subject, and the coursework piled up.
I sincerely believe that if my visa is extended, I will be able to gain a thoroughgoing knowledge about the subject that I have to reappear in. Extension of my visa will help me qualify for my course to attain my master’s degree.
After completing my degree, I wish to work for a reputed organization and make a valuable contribution to the organization that chooses to employ me. I also wish to consolidate my comprehension and skills of networking and cybersecurity and build a truly fruitful career.
